Ortho-K dream lens

Orthokeratolgy lenses (commonly referred to as Ortho-K lenses) are a type of Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lens that gently reshapes your cornea and correct your vision while you sleep, allowing you to experience clear, contact lens and spectacle-free vision during the day.

 

It is a non-surgical solution to correct refractive errors, like myopia and astigmatism, for kids and adults. The effect of the correction is temporary and fully reversible. Sometimes Ortho-k is preferred as the risk is lower than solutions involving surgical procedures.

Ortho-K lenses are custom made. When you come in for your pre-assessment appointment, the optometrist will run a series of test and measurements. This includes refraction, corneal topography, and curvature data to determine if you are a candidate for using the lenses. This will be followed by fitting assessment, management guidance and regular follow-ups.
